Age 70, of Swissvale. Beloved wife of Daniel Wasson. Daughter of Frank Benning Sr. and the late Vinelle Benning. Loving mother of Demita (Solomon D. Sr.) Morris, Natasha (Michael) Matulevic. Grandmother of Branden T. Johnson, Solomon D. Morris Jr. (fiancée Laney Keys), Demitri J. Wasson. Great-grandmother of Halie Rae Marie Sims, Azhir Germany, Solomon D. Morris III. Sister of Minnie (Joseph) Harper, Frank (Joyce) Benning Jr., Cornelius (Theresa) Benning and the late Charles Benning; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends will be received Sunday, Jan. 21 from 4-8pm at the ROSE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES. Funeral Service will be Monday, Jan. 22 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

William Charles McClain
William Charles McClain, age 78, of Monroeville, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2023, born to the late William and Margaret McClain. William was raised by his uncle, and aunt Charles Leroy (Anna) Fallon; beloved husband of the late Sherry McClain; father of Ryan (Lisa) McClain and the late Michael McClain; grandfather of Lily Madison, Rosalyn, and Maxwell McClain; brother of the late Sandra McClain and Donna Acevedo; cousin of Janet (Joe) Batson, Richard (Brenda) Fallon and the late Joan Fleischauer and Bernice Gillen. William better know as “Loving Uncle Mickey” is also survived by a host of neices and nephews. A Committal Service will be held on Friday, December 29, at 11:30 AM at Allegheny Cemetery Temple of Memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Age 83, of Penn Hills, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Daughter of the late Anton and Margaret Niedermeyer; wife of the late Thomas F. Welsch; beloved mother of Theresa (Stephen) Zagorski and Thomas K. (Karen) Welsch; grandmother of Stephanie (John) Caruso, Layla Welsch, Brandon Welsch, Jonathan Zagorski, Ella Welsch, and Mia Welsch; sister of Margaret (Larry) Kladney, Josephine (John) Kwiatkowski, Janet (David) Bisceglia, and the late Anthony Niedermeyer, Barbara Shoemaker, Robert Niedermeyer, Ronald Niedermeyer, and James Niedermeyer. Friends received Wednesday, December 27, 2023, 5-8 p.m. at ROSE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 10940 Frankstown Rd., Pgh. 15235. A Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish – St. Joe’s Church, 825 2nd St., Verona 15147. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family of Frances Welsch or to Catholic Charities.

Devoted mother of Nikki (Greg) Hanak and Kara Parco. Beloved grandmother of Jake , Brady, Tayler, Nathan and Casie. Sister of Cherly and Eric. Sister in law of Dana Hughes, Kimberly Koltick, Cheryl Parco, Steve Parco and Mike Parco. Pam is survived by a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends. Friends received Wednesday, December 13, 2023 6pm to 8pm and Thursday, December 14, 2023 2pm to 8pm at the funeral home where service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11am.
