Age 83, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2022.  Son of the late Hayes and Mollie Belle Mitchell. Loving brother of Marlene Nelson, and the late Hayes E. Mitchell Jr.   Brother in law of the late Emmette Nelson.  Uncle of Marie (Ronald) Williams, Megan Robinson, Lisa Mitchell and Andre Mitchell.  Great uncle of Courtney Holloman and RJ Williams. Also survived by a host of other family and friends.  Tommy was a United States Army Veteran, after serving in the Army he moved to New York where he lived until he returned home to Pittsburgh, PA, to be closer to his sister and her family in 2018.  Thomas was a very thoughtful brother, he loved music, his family and he loved to laugh.
