James W. Porter Jr
Age 90, of Penn Hills, PA, passed away peacefully Monday, April 1, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Alberta B. Porter. Devoted father of James W. Porter III and Lynn (Rodney) Hickman, loving grandfather of Macey (Travis) Kinard, Camille Hickman, Kelcey Hickman, Kalen, Unique and Tanai Hickman; great-grandfather of Terri Kinard, Aurie Kinard and Tj Kinard. Brother of the late Mary Martin and Laudi Mitchell. Brother-in-law of Phyllis Austin. James was a devoted member of Sixth Mount Zion Baptist church and the Veterans Administration Food Bank, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Friends received Sunday, April 7th, 2024 from 4pm until 8pm at ROSE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, where the Funeral Service will be held Monday at noon.
I met Mr Porter over 30 years ago and then he became family to me and mines. He was a good man and will be truly missed. Now he is with the love of his life????????
