Barbara Fuller

Barbara Ann Fuller, 74 of Pittsburgh, PA.  Loving Wife to the late David M. Fuller, devoted mother to Brandon (Tonya) Jay and Grandmother of Brandi Jay and Torri Jay.  Beloved Sister to John “Butch” Brinson and Sharon “Porky” Hill and treasured aunt to Caprice Hill, Norman “Cy” Hill, Makeem ”Chunky” Hill, Barbara Monique Hill, Jon Lamar Brinson, Brittany Brinson and Parraish Brinson.  Barbara is also survived by a host of Great Nieces and Nephews. Barbara was second born to Eugenia Brinson.  After giving birth to her only child Brandon, Barbara worked various jobs to take care of her son; from waitressing to caregiver at hospitals to becoming a lead worker at H.J. Heinz’s baby food department from which she retired after serving 45 years. Some of her memorable moments were traveling throughout Europe where she visited her son, daughter-in-law and grandchild while they served abroad in the military. Barbara spent her last days living with her kids and grandkids in Maryland until her sunset. Belong Yes we all know that we need to be strong, but though our family your memory will live on.  You don’t need to fight anymore just let go and let God, while you were here on earth you did your job.  You did your part to keep family together, that’s why you will remain in our hearts always and forever.

Robert Kudzma

Robert Kudzma (Bob), 81, passed away at St. Clair Hospital on February 24th after a brief illness. Bob was born April 15, 1939 in Nashua New Hampshire to Joseph Simon Kudzma and Alice Kudzma.   He received his undergraduate degree from University of New Hampshire in 1961.  Bob married his wife, Charlene Yvette Brown, in January 1962 and subsequently enjoyed nearly 60 years of loving partnership. Bob started his distinguished career in meteorology by receiving a Graduate Degree at Texas A&M through the Air Force ROTC program.  He subsequently served in Viet Nam at Tan Son Nat Air Force Base in Saigon as a meteorologist and returned home as a Captain stationed at Andrews Air Force base. After leaving the Air Force, Bob briefly worked for United Airlines as a meteorologist in Chicago before successfully auditioning in 1968 for the role of an on-air meteorologist for KDKA in Pittsburgh.   Bob remained as a meteorologist at KDKA for over 30 years, brightening the days of Pittsburgh television viewers with his warm and friendly personality come rain or shine. After retiring from KDKA in 1998, Bob stayed active in a unique new role – a school bus driver for Bethel Park — that reflected his love of children.  Just as with his television viewers, Bob touched the lives of the many children each day with his unique sense of humor and relentlessly sunny outlook on life. In addition to his beloved wife Charlene of 59 years, Bob is survived by sisters Sally Kahn and Mary Ann Denninghoff; brother Dave Kudzma; son Robert; daughters Kate (Duane) Rieder, Alesia (David) DeChicchis and Kerri (John) Michener; grandsons Bobby Kudzma, Jack and Owen Michener; and granddaughters Tyler and Meghan Michener, Zoe and Scout Rieder. While he touched many lives in his role of meteorologist and school bus driver, nothing brought greater joy than for Bob to be surrounded by loving family bringing smiles and laughs to those around him.
