Adrienne Cora Garner
Adrienne Cora Garner was born to the late Werden G. and Geneva Favor on November 20, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA
Adrienne was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System and graduated from Schenley High School. After high school Adrienne married the late James E. (Sonny) McKoy Sr. Of this union one child was born Deborah M. McKoy.
Adrienne was employed by Kroger’s, YMCA and Model Cities. She was employed with the Pittsburgh Public School system until she retired. She was a resident of the Belmar Gardens Co-op for more than 50 years and she proudly served as a member on the Board of Directors until she resigned.
In her lifetime Adrienne had many interests such as traveling, knitting and crocheting, bowling, fishing and she loved doing jigsaw puzzles daily on her computer. Her favorite pastime was baking her delicious pound cakes, which I am sure is bringing a smile to everyone’s face.
Adrienne is proceeded in death by her parents Werden and Geneva Favor, her brothers Edward, Werden Jr and James (Jimmy) one sister Jane Ellen Metz.
Adrienne will be sorely missed by her surviving sister and brother-in-law Ernestine & Ben White. Loving nephew and niece Gordon (Gordy) and Eileen Metz. Her loving daughter Debbie will be lost without her. She will also be greatly missed by a host of family and friends.
Friends received Friday 10am til time of service at 11am at the funeral home

Beloved grandmother of Lauren, Ayrelle, Chaz, Kasjah, Gregory, Cheyenne, Perri, Gage, Orna, Chyna, Jenal, Myla, Uwe, Jr. Also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Grandmother to eight grandchildren. Great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren.
