Roy Cooper Sr.

Age 88, of Monroeville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, son of the late Phillip and Elizabeth Cooper; husband of Brenda B. Cooper; father of Roy (Lorraine) Cooper, Jr., Norman (Gladys) Cooper, and Brian (Cynthia) Cooper; grandfather of Heather (Trevon) Phelps, Brian Cooper Jr., Dynasty Cooper, and the late Ashley Cooper; great-grandfather to Ri-Yahn Cooper; brother of Nellie Hairston, Phillip (Jean) Cooper, Carolyn (Stewart) Chambers, and the late Clarence (Kathryn) Cooper, Earnestine (Carl) Gilliam, Grace Cooper, Guy Cooper, Tom Cooper, Robert (Patricia) Cooper, and Jerry Cooper; brother-in-law of Arlene Cooper, Brenda Cooper, and Elaine Cooper; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Tommy “Buddy Love” Jones

Tommy “Buddy” Jones born July 28th 1965 the youngest  child of Johnie Jones Sr. and Annie Jones. Buddy attended Rogers Elementary, Arsenal Middle school and  Peabody High School, later receiving a Brick Mason Certificate from a technical/trade center. Buddy was very well known around the neighborhood, mostly for helping people, going to the store for the older people in the neighborhood. Buddy was always smiling and dancing. There was never a dull moment when he was around he was full of laughter and fun. He was always the life of the party. Buddy’s love for life, music and people was unmatched. He lived a remarkable life on his own terms and by his own rules. Buddy, who received his nickname from a neighbor whose son suffered from Spina Bifida, Tommy would play cards and board games on the porch with him since he was unable to play with the other children. When he would see Tommy he would yell out excitingly “here comes my friend, here comes my BUDDY!!! The name stayed with him  and was very fitting of his character, demeanor and personality. Buddy was a very loving, helpful person and friend with a heart like no other. Buddy is preceded in death by his Father Johnie Jones Sr, Mother Annie Jones Sister Inez Jones-Tavakoli and Brother Johnie Jones Jr. Buddy is left to mourn by brothers Jerry Lee Jones (Donna) and Terry Lee Jones (Constance) Sisters Jacqueline Jones-Johnson, Iona “Cookie” Jones-Pope (Vincent)  Nieces, Tredessa “Boosie” Jones, Ebony English-Coker (Wayne), Torrie Jones-Snyder (Chris),.Latoya Hall. Nephews. Cinque Johnson, Omid Tavakoli, Dorian Jones (Dawn), Terry Jones Jr. and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Friends received Wednesday 10am til time of Service at 11am at Rose Funeral Home & cremation Service

Passed away August 9, 2022

Louis J. Battocchi

Age 68, of Pgh., PA, passed away gracefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Son of Elisa and the late Louis J. Battocchi, Sr.; Michelle Battocchi “wife”; father of Julia (Joe Lesney) Battocchi, Michael (Shannon Tracey) Battocchi, and Celeste (Blair) Hillen, who he was so proud of and loved from the deepest part of his soul; grandfather of Joshua, Declan, Colton, and Luca, who lit up his life, bringing him more joy and blessings than they will ever know; brother of Joseph Battocchi, and the late Alan Battocchi and Robert Battocchi; Louis is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and many friends new and old. Louis was truly an amazing, strong man, who loved life every day. His strength was proven through his struggles. He loved and was loved by many, near and far. A Blessing Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 2 p.m. at ROSE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 10940 Frankstown Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15235.

Constance A. Mack

On Thursday July 14, 2022, Constance “Connie” Ann Pawlik-Mack, loving wife, mother of six children, and friend passed away at the age of 45 in Monroeville, PA. Connie was born December 7th, 1976 to Charlene and George Pawlik Sr. (Charles Brooks). Connie graduated from Woodland Hills High School in 1996. Following high school, Connie completed the LPN program at Connelly Vocational School. She quickly learned that nursing was not the field for her, so she started her career supporting people with intellectual disabilities at NHS as a direct care staff. She worked her way up to Director at other agencies and found her forever job as Program Director at Creative Dialogues. Connie received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from The  University of Phoenix while working full time and supporting her family.  Most recently, Connie was working on her master’s degree in Organizational Psychology. Connie had a passion for helping people and bringing people together. She loved being active with family and friends, especially going camping, snow tubing, and trying new activities like Knockerball. She also loved doing anything with and for her kids like watching their sporting events, taking them on cruises, and going to the pet store almost every day. She was an incredible friend, always helping every person she met. Connie loved the people she worked with and cared for. She treated her clients like family and changed their lives forever. Connie was also the mother that a lot of people never had. Her warmth and compassion made everyone’s life better. Her presence was powerful and loving. Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Pawlik, fathers George Pawlik Sr. and Charles Brooks, and brother Keith (Keithy) Ulrich.  She is survived by her husband Brian, her six children Christopher, Justice, Brianna, Kiera, Markus, and Cody; granddaughters Sophia and Brynlee, her brother George (Jennifer)Pawlik Jr., her sister Charla Brooks, her brother Jermaine curry ,as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Connie’s viewing will be at Rose’s Funeral Home at 10940 Frankstown Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15235 on Wednesday July 20th from 2p-4p and 6p-8p. Her funeral will be held at New Life Community Ministries at 447 Hamil Rd. Verona, PA 15147 at 11am on Thursday July 21st.

Sandra Admas

Age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.  Sandra was a devoted mother to her two children Craig Adams and Karis “Denie” Adams.  She leaves to cherish her memory one son Craig Adams, one grandson Isaiah Adams, one sister Francis Hefflin, one niece Debora Sterling, three nephews, Curtis Hefflin, Bill Hefflin, Brian Hefflin, one great nephew Devon Sterling.  She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Francis Brown, one daughter Karis “Denie” Adams and one sister Mary Alice Sterling.  Friends received Thursday, July 14, 2022 5pm til time of service at 7pm at Rose Funeral Home & cremation Services
