Kenneth Lee Hudson Sr.

Kenneth L. Hudson, Sr., 84, of Pittsburgh, Pa was born November 22, 1939, to the late Robert L. Hudson Sr. and Edna (Cohen) Johnson along with his stepmother, the late China Hudson and Uncle DeWitt who also played a major role during his upbringing in Greenville, South Carolina. Kenneth was educated in the South Carolina Public School System, as well as the Pittsburgh Public School System, where he would later graduate from Taylor Allderdice High School. Upon completing high school, Kenneth would go on to serve our country in the United States Navy with Honors from January 7, 1955, to July 12, 1958.

Kenneth the Owner of HUDSON & SONS Construction Company was a self-taught man that was blessed with many talents and gifts. If he didn’t know how to perform a task, he would read books and teach himself. He was a hunter, fisherman, mechanic, a carpenter, an electrician, a plumber, DJ, and a seamstress. Come on now! You know y’all seen his one-of-a-kind outfits, as he refused to look like anyone else. Mr. Hudson had to stand out, he wouldn’t have it any other way. Oh, and let’s not forget, his love for motorcycles (HARLEY’S) to be specific as he was also a member of the Peace Makers Motorcycle Club. After a long fight with illness and running a good race, Kenneth L. Hudson, Sr. surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father prepared a place for him and called him home during Holy Week, Thursday March 28, 2024, with the sun shining.

In addition to his parents and stepmother, Kenneth was preceded in death by, one son Lance Howard, three brothers, Robert Lee Hudson, Jr., Halim Adbul Karim (Steve Suswell),  and Mirrio Hudson Sr, one sister, Julia Rivera and one brother in-love Harry Heywood.

Hudson, three daughters: Rhonda Berkley, Cannitha Brown, Kennice Hudson-Wise (Joseph), eight sons Kenneth Hudson Jr, Mark Hudson, Lamont Yarbough, Alex Collier, Eric Worsham (Lachanda), Kenneth Chambers, Darren Lipinski (Neocha), Kenneth Hudson all of Pittsburgh, Pa.
