Katherine Baggerly Dryburgh

Katherine Baggerly Dryburgh, 82, of Murrysville, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 23, 1943, in West Palm Beach, FL, Kathy was the daughter of Harrison and Mary Baggerly. A beloved mother, grandparent, and great-grandparent. Katherine was generous, kind, and outspoken in her beliefs. Katherine graduated from Shadyside School of Nursing and devoted many years to her career in nursing and raising a family. A former member of Edgewood Country Club, League of Women Voters, Pittsburgh East Quilters Guild, Pittsburgh Knitters Guild, and Friday Girls. She had a deep love for quilting, knitting, bird watching, gardening, traveling, and going on retreats. Above all, Kathy cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her three sons, William Todd (Sue) of Bloomfield, PA, Bruce (Donna) of Manor, PA, and Ian (Betsy) of Manteo, NC; nine grandchildren, Diana Dryburgh, Lisa (Richard) Wagner, James Dryburgh, Samantha (Michael) Joyce, Liam Dryburgh, Matthew (Alexandria) Dryburgh, Morgan Dryburgh, William (Casey) Dryburgh, and Megan Dryburgh; as well as 11 great-grandchildren; niece Ann (Tom) Fitzgerald of Penn Hills, PA; and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Margaret Isherwood; a niece, Kathy Napolitana; and her husband of 52 years, William Todd “Bill” Dryburgh II. As per her wishes, there will be no viewing or service. There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s name to Braddock Free Store, forgoodpgh.org. Arrangements entrusted to ROSE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.
