Lolita Chrisler, 56, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her brother and sister.
Born on January 3, 1970, to Marguerite Chrisler and William Robinson, Lolita attended Peabody High School, where she formed many lifelong friendships.
In her youth, Lolita worked at Mr. Donut, where she was known for her fashion, style, and vibrant personality. Over time, she began her entrepreneurial journey, starting with the ice cream truck and earning the longtime nickname “the Ice Cream Lady” from many in the community. She eventually opened Chrisler’s Housekeeping, which she successfully operated for over ten years, serving numerous commercial and residential properties in the city of Pittsburgh.
Lolita was full of life and down to earth. She had a special place in her heart for children, often babysitting and caring for the kids of family, friends, and the community. She was all about focusing on the good in life and enjoying its joyful moments.
She was a proud and devoted mother to her only child, Dominique Chrisler, celebrating every accomplishment and looking forward to seeing her walk across the stage to receive her bachelor’s degree. Their bond was incredibly close, filled with love and unwavering support.
Leaving to cherish her legacy is her daughter, Dominique Chrisler; her siblings, Raymon Holmes (wife Ramona), Nicole Holmes, William Gardner, and Tammy Jones; her nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marguerite Chrisler; her father, William Robinson; and her brother, Victor Gardner.
Friends received Friday, March 13, 2026, 4pm to 7pm at Rose Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where service will be held Saturday at 11am
