Age 97, of the Homewood section of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2024, daughter of the late Henry Payton and Vera Payton Banks: wife of the late Henry Martin Ferguson.  Beloved Mother of Henry “Butch” (Joanna) Ferguson, George (Okie) Ferguson and Lindsay (Michelle) Ferguson;devoted grandmother of Chris (Nikki) Renata (Marcel, JR), Justin (Anjali), Ross, Erica, Colter and Candace; great-grandmother of Selina, Mila, Christian, Milani-Rose, Jai, Aliya, Marcel III, Jaylyn, Myles, Riley, Leo, Lily and Malakai.  Jean was preceded in death by her siblings: Henry Allen, Anna and William “Buddy”.  She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.   Jean had a great love for her three sons, her family and was admired by her friends and people she met along her journey in life.  Friends received Wednesday, May 22, 2024 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home where services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11am
