Sandra “Sandi” Lynn Pellegrino, age 68, daughter of Ella Mae Reinheimer and the late Robert D. Reinheimer, courageously went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was greatly adored as a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Sandi was born March 23, 1955, and grew up in Penn Hills. Sandi is survived by her sons Jason (Heidi) Beam and Adam (Carley) Pellegrino, sisters Jill (James) Lamagna and Lisa (John) Reinheimer, and brother Doug (Diane) Reinheimer. She is also survived by her nieces Lauren (Greg) Jackson, Leigh Ann (Colton) Miller, Natalie Lamagna, Nicole Lamagna, and Lindsey Lamagna, nephew Rob (Ngoan) Reinheimer, and many beloved cousins. Sandi was also the great aunt of Garrett and Lilly Miller, dog mom of her dear pooch Macy, and grandmother of dog Bane. Sandi was a huge supporter of all her family and always loved to be there for them in every step they took through life. She loved big family get-togethers for Christmas and parties in the summer. She was also known for always giving a laugh and speaking into her phone to send hilarious texts to her friends and family. There was never a dull moment when she was around. Sandi had many close friends that she truly treasured. She will be dearly missed by many. At Sandi’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the animal charity of your choosing.
