Dolores Doss

Dolores Doss, of Penn Hills, PA, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family members on October 6, 2025, at the age of 73. Lovingly known as Dee, she was the last of seven children born to Boston and Mary Kelley. At the age of 17, she was first of several family members to be baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and remained faithful to the end of her life. When she was 21, she married Lamont Doss. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time in the ministry and being with family and friends. Dee is survived by her daughter, Adetra Young, granddaughters Ra’iel (Stephen) Chajnicki, Quateria Young and two great-grandsons, De’Mari and Aris; sisters Mildred Brown, Barbara  (Carlos) Steele, Paulette (Elliott) Thompson and sister-in-law, Anne Kelly; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Lamont Doss, grandson Yaheim Young; parents Boston and Mary Kelley; siblings Boston Kelley Jr., Margie Kea and Curtis Kelly. Dee was loved and will be missed by many. Funeral arrangements will be private.

To the family of Delores Kelly Doss. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences in loss of Delores . She and Lamont were dear classmates of mine. I will miss them dearly, anxiously awaiting when I’ll see them both again, in Jehovah’s new world to come.

    Philia love,
    Isabella Morton Dukes
