Husband of the late Elsie Hines; beloved father of William Hines, Jr., Kimberley (Leonard) Miller, Diane (Rufus) Davis, Alfred Hines, Linda (Ralph) Livsey and the late Randolph Peterson, Carol Taylor and Paul Hines; brother of Beverly Burnett; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

James was 87, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Age 67, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Beloved son of Vera and Milton Weiss; brother of Lester (Lucy); uncle of Michael (Micki), Jennifer (Zak Sample), and Steven; great-uncle to four. Jeffrey was a retired attorney and a very active and devoted volunteer at the Humane Animal Rescue. He was an enthusiast of all Pittsburgh sports teams and he particularly enjoyed participating in his family Fantasy Football League.
