Of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Loving mother of Celeste (John) Carter and the late Bob Hayes and Michele Poindexter. Mother-in-law of Ellen Hayes. Devoted grandmother of six. Also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Services are private.
Hi Les and Family…we tried to get on the Facebook link. Just want to say – Gerri was one of the finest persons around. She always kept a smile and open heart when meeting you – even if not the first time. Her even manner to handle our family members always was in the positive light of things. Finally, she was a beautiful black woman. We Love Her.
